Small Town Outfitters was created in April 2018 by three 12-year-old friends who were students at Flint River Academy in Meriwether County. The project began as a concept for a logo for hats for themselves. They created the logo on a computer. Friends at school wanted hats, too, and then others began to want them. The three young entrepreneurs have shipped hats as far away as Texas and Massachusetts. T-shirts have also been added to Small Town Outfitters' offerings.
The founders of the company -- Christopher Callahan, Jack Corley, Brody Howard -- were recognized for their efforts with Allen-Lee Honors awards.
